Working together with WA Local Government
LGIS is entirely owned and controlled by its members and is focused on ensuring the long term protection of your local government through an industry based self-insurance Scheme. The Scheme incorporates protection for property, civil liability exposures, volunteer fire fighters and workers compensation and is a superior alternative to what is made available by the traditional insurance market.
Providing you with greater security and certainty you benefit from the strength and commitment of working together to finance and manage your risk through a shared vision and alignment of outlook, interest and loyalty.
Risk management underpins the success of your Scheme, good governance of your own organisation as well as ensuring a safer workplace and community. A comprehensive risk management support program tailored to your individual needs is provided as a complimentary benefit of your membership.
We listen to you and deliver solutions through a local team of specialists who know risk management, risk financing and Western Australian Local Government in equal measure.
