Should we have been better prepared for COVID-19? Everything seems "unprecedented", but we've had SARS, MERS, and Bird Flu all in the last 10 years. We need to learn from this pandemic and make sense of it so we can handle the next viral disruption better.
To ensure you are well placed when the inevitable happens again, LGIS, through its risk consulting provider Marsh Risk Consulting has developed the following COVID-19 risk offerings:
- COVID-19 Debrief
- POST-COVID-19 Strategic Objectives Risk Review
COVID -19 Debrief
Working with your executive and management team, our local government risk specialist will work with you to review the effectiveness of your response to the COVID-19 pandemic, capture lessons learned, determine any post-disruption requirements, and help build resilience for future disruptions.
This program will involve pre-workshop preparation for participants and the facilitation of a 2.5 hour workshop with the organisation's leadership team. A summary report will be provided that will include recommendations to ensure you are best placed to minimise any future impacts of this nature.
Post-COVID-19 Strategic Objectives Risk Review
Have you considered the impact of COVID-19 on your existing organisational objectives and risk appetite; how have these been impacted, and where do your priorities now lie?
Following on from the COVID-19 debrief, we can review the risk to your existing strategic objectives in light of the learnings from the pandemic and realign them to the new normal.
