The Health & Wellbeing (H&W) program has been impacted by the current situation. 

In light of this LGIS has extended the availability of funding for an additional three months. 

With many local government staff now working from home and with gatherings banned it may be difficult to access some of the services funded by the program.

Funding will now expire on September 30, 2020.

LGIS health and wellbeing providers continue to offer services and are committed to maintaining the highest standard of service delivery, while assuring the health of staff, as well as their teams remains the top priority.

Flu Vax 

Members continue to enquire about the 2020 flu vaccine which is available as part of the LGIS health and wellbeing program.

The flu vaccination provides no coronavirus protection; however, with the winter flu season yet to come it remains the best way to protect your staff against many strains of influenza.

The 2020 flu vaccine has been released and due to overwhelming demand many bookings have been filled. 

However, wait lists are available where members can register their details for the flu shot.
