Across Australia, what are the risks for local government?

The National Local Government Risk Survey is now open for LGIS members to contribute to the national conversation. This annual survey receives contributions from local government leaders across the country, and we want to make sure that West Australian concerns are well represented.

Delivered by JLT Public Sector, this annual research into the key risks faced by local governments is a unique tool, with the research published in the JLT Key Risk Indicator Report and distributed to LGIS members.

Our members have previously said that the report's findings has assisted them in developing their risk frameworks and we encourage you all to participate in the survey.

This year's survey follows a number of years of unprecedented uncertainty brought on by floods, bushfires, Covid-19 and cyber-attacks. Your involvement will provide important insights into the range of risks impacting local governments now and right across the country.
