Streamlining the process to becoming a Recognised Healthy Workplace Back

Healthier Workplace WA (HWWA) is excited to announce a new, streamlined process for applying to become a Recognised Healthy Workplace (RHW). The RHW Program awards WA workplaces demonstrating commitment and leadership in the area of workplace health and wellbeing. Becoming recognised has many benefits including enhancing business reputation, being an employer of choice and assisting to grow workplace culture by demonstrating a commitment to health and wellbeing.

The new online five step application process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The level of recognition a workplace achieves will depend on the workplace's longevity and comprehensiveness of the workplace health and wellbeing program.

All applications to the RHW Program require senior management support, staff consultation, participation in HWWA Coordinator Training, and an implemented action plan. New assessment requirements for Gold, Silver and Bronze recognition status can be viewed here.

LGIS recognises the link between healthy, happy employees and a more productive workplace, and encourages all our local government members to apply to become a Recognised Healthy Workplace.
